What Our Guests Say
The 1747 Pub has been forever on our list to try. So glad we did. It's a piece historical fabulousness. Small bar area and a cozy dark dining room with a fireplace. It's like stepping back in time. We sat at the small bar and had a delightful time with the bartender Kevin. Kevin was accommodating and had a flexible creativity with the bar's cocktails when there was an item that wasn't available for the concoction. The food was absolutely great. The onion soup's broth was comforting with it's gooey cheese. Not overwhelming, just perfect to start the meal. The eggplant crepe was unexpectedly rich with it's red sauce. The Chardonnay poached pear salad was delightful and fresh with gotgonIla,walnuts, fresh greens and champagne vainegretre. The salad was the perfect size. Not overwhelming large as many salads are these days The hamburgers are down home goodness. What can I say it was a chili Sunday two weeks after the initial snow storm. The pub was like coming into a warm comfort zone after shopping at the Arundel Farmer's market. Then with a friendly bartender to guide us through the drinks and menu made for a perfect lunch.

I had my bridal shower at Reynolds and everything went so well. The timing of the event was smoothly managed by the servers. The food was very tasty with plenty of sweet and savory high tea finger foods. The staff were cordial and friendly. Just a lovely event in such a historic venue.

We had a really wonderful dinner in the dining room followed by drinks and dessert in the pub. Our servers were great. We loved the steak frites, shrimp and scallops and salmon risotto. Cream of crab was delicious but a little cold. Old fashioned and Aperol spritz were great. The pace of service was quick for ‘fine dining’ but we weren’t rushed out.Noah Teague Booz performing live was delightful. 100% recommend coming just for the vibes - oil lamps on the tables, fire in the fireplace. Perfect date night spot on a cold winter night.I super appreciate that you cannot hear the pub in the dining room. All of the spaces were pretty bright - good for accessibility but maybe took away from the ambiance. This is not a place for children. Can’t wait to come back!

We went for the afternoon tea and it was fantastic. Great price for the tea, huge selection of food and the location is incredible with it being a building that is older than our country. You’ll need a reservation for afternoon tea because they stay packed.
